For a limited summer season, our camping pitches are open once again - offering space, freedom, dark skies and alpaca neighbours in the heart of the Scottish Borders.

​

Choose from eight grass pitches, including cosy alpaca-side spots, larger pitches for families and groups, and two super pitches with private eco loos.

​

As night falls, the skies here are something else - wide, dark and full of stars. Bring your own tent, pack your head torch, and come and share in the magic of Beirhope.

Small but perfectly placed, Poppy’s Pitch sits right by the alpaca paddocks. Bring your tent, settle in, and enjoy a quiet night under the stars with some very woolly neighbours nearby.

Pitch up beside the alpacas and wake to big skies, soft hills and the gentle pace of Beirhope. A characterful grass pitch for up to 4 people - simple, scenic and full of charm.

A circular grass pitch with its own outdoor dining area, kitchen space and private eco loo. Perfect for slow evenings, starry skies and making yourselves properly at home outdoors.

A spacious pitch with its own kitchen/diner, private eco loo and fire pit area. Great for groups who like the idea of camping, but also quite like having somewhere lovely to cook, gather and sit with a cuppa.

BIG SKY PITCHES FOR SIX

Stargazer's Paddock

Three spacious grass pitches - Capella, Saturn and Orion - surrounded by alpacas, horse, sheep and goats. Perfect for larger tents, bigger skies and a proper stretch-out summer stay at Beirhope.

Woodland Wonder

A secluded woodland pitch with room for up to 6 people and 2 dogs. Think trees, birdsong, fresh air and that lovely feeling of being just a little bit hidden away.

Good to Know Before You Book

Bring your own tent

All pitches are bring-your-own-tent.


On-foot access

Vehicles can’t reach the pitches.


Wheelbarrows provided

For transporting belongings from the drop-off zone.


Natural terrain

Pitches are flat, but accessed via hill and uneven ground.

Bringing a dog?
Dogs are welcome on Woodland Wonder only, with a maximum of 2 dogs per stay.


Facilities

Eco loos, washing facilities and bucket shower available.

​

No ground fires
Ground fires are not permitted. Fire pits must be hired or used where provided.


Little extras

Hot drinks, treats and camping essentials available onsite.
